Altar frontal painted in tempera on panel, from the church of Santa Maria de
Avià (Berguedà, Catalonia). It shows the Virgin Mary enthroned with the
Child in the central mandorla, flanked by scenes from her life
(Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Adoration of the Magi, Presentation).
It is one of the great panels of Catalan Romanesque, and it hangs at the
MNAC in Barcelona.
