A set of cave paintings in the Dordogne (France), found by chance in
September 1940 by four teenagers and a dog called Robot. More than six
hundred figures, mostly horses, deer, aurochs and bison, done in ochre
and charcoal. The best known part, the “Hall of the Bulls”, holds a five
metre aurochs: the largest figure known in cave art.
