An exhibition hall built on the Champs-Élysées for the Paris Universal Exhibition of 1900. It wraps a Beaux-Arts stone façade (colonnades, pediments, bronze quadrigas) around a central iron and glass hall topped by the largest glazed dome in Europe: academy stone outside, modern frame inside. It was shut for years over structural risk; after a full restoration it again hosts the big art fairs (FIAC, Art Paris) and other events.
